Anoush was born in 1991 and began playing the classical guitar age eight with ex student of John Williams, Teo Demov in Paris. A couple of years later he iniciated his studies of the flamenco guitar with Andrés Serrita and three years later moved to Seville to hone his guitar skills at the Cristina Heeren Foundation. In 2010 he performed at the Picasso Museum in Málaga with one of his maestros at the time Eduardo Rebollar. Later that same year he formed part of a group of students from the Cristina Heeren Foundation recording a CD which that same year was presented at the Flamenco Biennial in Seville. In April of 2011 he was awarded first prize at the Certamen de Jóvenes Flamencos de Sevilla and in December of the same year he was asked to perform as opening soloist at the fifth Gala de Fundación Antares which was an annual event hosted in the Lope de Vega theatre in Seville. That same year he began accompanying classes as assistant teacher at the Cristina Heeren Foundation alongside teachers of the caliber of Pedro Sierra, Paco Cortés, Eduardo Rebollar, Niño de Pura and Tino van der Smann. From then on he was regularly performing with singers and dancers in peñas all over Spain. He has also travelled to Germany, Japan and China collaborating in shows. He has worked with Anima Vitae exposing flamenco to youngsters all over Spain. He currently resides in Rotterdam where he is studying a bachelor degree in flamenco music at the Codarts Conservatory and forms part of several diverse projects incorporating styles such as bossa nova and flamenco amongst other styles from Ottoman music. He has had extensive experience in helping musicians who have come from other musical backgrounds but want to delve into the flamenco culture and communicate with other musicians from flamenco backgrounds. Anoush is currently assisting in the organization of a monthly music festival at the Codarts Conservatory.
